Alaska
Alaska occupies the northwestern end of North America, and is separated from the rest of the territory of the United States. It is the largest state of the U.S.A, but it is one of the least populated - higher density only in relation to Vermont and Wyoming. Alaska can be divided into three areas: the area of Canadian Spruce rainforests, the boreal forest area and tundra. The interior has very cold winters and short, warm summers. In the Arctic area, north of the Brooks range, in winter the temperature reaches from minus 23.3 ° C to minus 40 ° C. Alaska is the country of adventure, a land that allows you to live exciting excursions and outdoor activities such as drive dog sledding on a glacier or do heli-hiking in Denali National Park, or get on a kayak and explore the sinuous banks of the waterways. In Panhandle, the beauty of the mountains and the wild coast with its many narrow and deep fjords boasts attractions such as the Malaspina glacier and the blue ice of Glacier Bay National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1979. In the center of Alaska is the highest point in North America, Mount McKinley (Denali) in Denali National Park. Katmai National Park has within it the Valley of Ten Thousand Smokes, due to a volcanic eruption in 1912. The northernmost point of the region is Point Barrow, where you can spot the legendary polar bear.
