West America Trip
Nature Tour along British Columbia, Alaska and California
During our West America trip of British Columbia, Alaska and California, we explore the wild and lovely nature of the Pacific North American coastline. Considered the most beautiful of the Northern Hemisphere, this region is unique for its enchanting scenery enveloped in mysterious charm. Such sights include the towering Glacier Bay ice beds in Alaska, the incredible heights of the great sequoia trees in the Sequoia & Kings Canyon National Parks in California, and much more. British Columbia, Canada stands out with the some of most extensive land and ocean fauna on the planet, like the grizzlies and wolves roaming the Great Bear Rainforest, and the orcas, sea lions and humpback whales within the waters surrounding Vancouver Island. You’ll be able to capture images of these magnificent creatures with your camera lens during the many safari excursions included on this trip. Another highlight is the Denali National Park in Alaska, where you will view some of the richest fauna that the United States has to offer while being toured around the terrain on a coach bus driven by an experienced ranger. This park, in addition to its countless natural wonders, boasts the highest mountain in North America: Mount McKinley (20,308 ft. above sea level). The native tribes of the area called this “Denali” mountain, which translated to “the tallest” in their language – hence the name of the park.
