Located on the river of the same name and bordering Quebec and Ontario, Ottawa certainly does not pretend to imitate the “grandeur” pursued in the construction of other capitals such as, for example, Brasilia and Washington. However, the city has several noteworthy points of interest such as the Parliament Building, the ByWard Market, the National Gallery of Canada and the Canadian Museum of Nature. Its Rideau Canal (126 miles from Ottawa to Kingston on Ontario Lake ) becomes “the longest ice skating rink in the world” in the winter, while in summer it is run by numerous pleasure boats. Alternatively, you will enjoy the show of the great parks from above, flying on a balloon.
