First Day place of departure / GUATEMALA CITY/ ANTIGUA

Departing from ………….. with Guatemala City Line Companies. Meal on board. Arrival and transfer to Antigua. Accommodation at the Camino Real Antigua Hotel (4 *) or similar.

Second Day ANTIGUA
Walking to Antigua is like going back in time … stone roads, bougainvillea falling from ruined walls, colorful walls with characteristic balconies, brick roofs, parks with fountains and a spectacular landscape at the foot of the three volcanoes: Water, Fire and Acatenango. These are some of the reasons that make Antigua one of the nicest colonial towns in the Americas and UNESCO Cultural Heritage.We will start the tour with the visit of the village of San Antonio Aguas Calientes, surrounded by the volcanoes and famous for its fabrics and crafts. Afterwards, we will visit the “Azotea” Cultural Center, where there is a coffee shop and the Museum of Maya “K’Ojom”. After experiencing one of the best Guatemalan cafes, we will go to the historic center of Antigua, starting from the Central Park and visiting the main monuments. Lunch included. Return to hotel in the afternoon.

Third Day ANTIGUA / CHICHICASTENANGO / ATITLAN
Departure for the village of Chichicastenango, where every Thursday and Sunday, residents of the region gather to buy and sell fruits, vegetables, flowers, seeds, animals, textiles and handicrafts, making it the most colorful and picturesque market in Guatemala. We will also visit the local church of Santo Tomás, where Mayan-Quiché natives celebrate their traditional rituals. After a simple lunch at a local family,
we will continue for Lake Atitlan. Arrival and accommodation at Hotel Porta del Lago (4 star) or similar.

Fourth Day SANTIAGO ATITLAN / GUATEMALA CITY / FLORES
Boat trip to the village of Santiago Atitlán while admiring the three volcanoes that surround one of the 10 most beautiful lakes in the world. In Santiago we will visit the veneration site of Santo Maximón, a clear example of the mixture of pagan rituals with the Catholic religion. In the afternoon, after lunch included, transfer to Guatemala City Airport and departure for Flores. Arrival and transfer to hotel. Hotel Camino Real Tikal (4 star) or similar.

Fifth Day FLORES / TIKAL / GUATEMALA CITY
Departure for the Tikal National Park, declared by the UNESCO World Heritage and Cultural Heritage. The majestic Mayan city is considered one of the largest and most monumental of all sites discovered in the Maya World. Guided tour of the most important squares, monuments and temples, admiring the tropical forest, habitats of hundreds of exotic birds and a wide variety of wildlife. In the afternoon, after lunch included, transfer to Flores Airport and departure for Guatemala City. Transfer to Hotel Radisson (4 star) or similar.

Sixth Day GUATEMALA CITY
After breakfast, included, transfer to the airport for return.
