Second Day
Honolua Bay is located in the northern part of Maui. Discover this bay, which is part of the Mokuleia Marine Life Conservation District. The rocky beach is not ideal for sunbathing, but the calm waters of the bay and the incredible variety of marine species make it a great place for diving and snorkeling. Northwestern Maui also offers many other beaches, such as D.T. Fleming Beach and Oneloa Bay. But a place not to be missed is Kapalua Bay Beach.
Located just north of Napili Bay, Kapalua Bay Beach has been voted the best beach in the world!
Let yourself be enchanted by the landscape, with the coconut trees that frame the bay and dive into its quiet waters full of life! After spending a day in Maui’s snorkeling and sunshine, return to your Wailea hotel.

Third Day
Today, head to Kihei, on the west coast of the island. From here you will begin your day exploring two of Maui’s wonders, the Kanaio Coast and the Molokini Crater. You will first see the Kanaio Coast, a volcanic coastline formed following the eruption of melted lava: the lava, by cooling, has given birth to really amazing conformations, such as grottos, bows and caves. It will then be the turn of La Perouse Bay, which is often frequented by dolphins with theirs puppies. These mammals are not afraid of man and often approach the boats to play with the waves they produce. After leaving La Perouse Bay you will be taken off to the Molokini Crater. Molokini is an ancient volcanic crater now almost completely submerged and is one of the best snorkeling spots in all of Hawaii, if not all over the world. Molokini is an ancient volcanic crater now almost completely submerged and is one of the best snorkeling spots in all of Hawaii, if not all over the world. Its shape protects snorkelers from currents and waves, offering a coral reef full of life and colors. Over 250 species of fish populate these waters, making them really interesting from a faunistic point of view. Left Molokini, the last stop will be at Makena, where you can swim between sea turtles and have a good lunch. Your adventure will end again in Kihei. Take a leap at the Humpback Whale National Marine Sanctuary and enjoy the many restaurants this fervent little town offers.
Return to Hotel in Wailea.

Fourth Day
Your fourth day in Maui will be dedicated to the exploration of Mount Haleakala, the highest mountain in Maui. Drive to Pukalani, where your excursion will begin. Haleakala, literally “Sunshine House”, is actually a volcano and for precision is the largest volcano inactive in the world: its last eruption dates back to 1790. The highest peak reaches 3,000 meters of altitude and the real crater is really huge: its diameter measures 7 miles, 1,86 miles the width and 0,49 miles depth. The legend wants depression at the top of Haleakala it was the grandmother’s home of god Maui and who helped him capture the sun and forced it to slow down its journey into the sky, stretching the days. From the summit, on clear days, you can even see Big Island, the largest of the whole archipelago. Your walk will start at a height of 490 feet above sea level and continue going up through guava, acacia and eucalyptus forests. You will pass by a waterfall and you will go further in the nature of Maui, which also includes bamboo, ginger and local plants. An amazing experience you will not forget easily, a day in close contact with Hawaii’s unique flora!
At the end, return to Hotel in Wailea.

Fifth DayThe Road to Hana
The Hana Road is famous for the beauty of its uncontaminated landscapes and the imposing waterfalls. Maui is understandably proud of the struggle’s success against the tumultuous speculation on Celestial Hana and the destruction of Hawaiian culture. When you are at Hana, you will understand why these are referred to as “The Land That Time Forgot”.
The Bamboo Forest 8 miles from Hana.
Great trekking and unique experience in the bamboo forest, an area full of mystery and opportunity to take photos. It is ideal for nature lovers and for enthusiasts of outdoor activities. Despite this path is not tough, this is an unforgettable experience. You will hear the interesting and relaxing sound emitted by bamboos when the wind blows. You can see tropical birds and other wild animals. Unforgettable.
After trekking, return to Hotel in Wailea.

Sixth Day
Give yourself a day at the sport that once was the prerogative exclusive of the Hawaiian real lineage, the surf! You will drive to Lahaina, where you will start private surf lessons or, if you are a surfer, you can practice your favorite sport in peace, with the possibility of renting a table if you do not own one of your own! Ride the waves of Maui, followed by an expert who will help you step by step in your enterprise. Then, use the rest of the day to discover the city of Lahaina, capital in the early 1900s of the Hawaiian Empire. Breathe the historic charm, go to the art galleries and to the wide variety of shops, taste regional cuisine and attend one of the many shows that animate Lahaina’s life during the evening!

Seventh Day
We will return to Pukalani, where the exploration of the West Maui Mountains or West Maui Volcano begins, known by Hawaiians as Maui Komohana. These mountains are even older than Mount Hakealala, and this is because they have been most eroded by weather agents over the centuries, making the landscape more gentle and at the same time lively and lush. The highest peak is Pu’u Kukui, which is about 5,500 feet high. Iao Valley is the most famous valley enclosed by this mountain range, characterized by a tropical vegetation and natural pools.

To the east is the Haleakala volcano and the Pacific Ocean, while on clear days it is possible to see the island of Molokai in the west. We’ll meet along the way
guava woods and thimbleberry, before going up to a forest made of eucalyptus and pine trees. We can also see the magnificent trees, ohi’a lehuathe, typical of Hawaii. After experiencing the beauty of the West Maui Mountains, go back to your hotel and take some deserved rest.
