Honeymoon in Canada and Alaska
Tour of British Columbia and Alaska Cruise
Honeymoon in Canada and Alaska
The Northern Pacific Coast between British Columbia and Alaska is an astonishing land, composed of a kaleidoscopic mix of landscapes that evoke unparalleled experiences and emotions. This trip will take you from the wild and stormy coasts of Vancouver Island, up to the Queen Charlotte Islands and the frozen sub-arctic coast of Alaska. Here, you’ll see the brilliant tops of Mount McKinley and the Alaskan Ranges – among the largest glaciers on the planet with magnificent forests dispersed across tundra landscapes. The beautiful rivers of British Columbia are visited by thousands of passionate fishermen every year, who participate in the ritual ascent of millions of Pacific salmon – just one of the many wonders of this territory, which includes 6,000 Km of coastline and 1,800 waterways. The Northern Pacific Coast is a region of hope and abundance that has inspired travellers and writers for centuries.
Along with the salmon, many species of cetaceans live here, including the largest living creature on our planet, the blue whale. You can also spot gray whales, humpback whales, orcas and three types of dolphins. The Great Bear Rainforest – a famous reserve park inaugurated by WWF in 2004 and one of Canada’s conservation jewels – is host to wonderful creatures like giant moose, black-tail deer, grizzlies, black bears and Kermode bears. Also known as spirit bears, these are the white variant of the black bear that only exist in this region of the world and are extremely rare.
Eco-Adventure is the main activity of this trip.
British Columbia and Alaska are unique and immense territories that can be viewed as nature’s playground. Here, you will be in direct contact with rich, uncontaminated nature, and can partake in many outdoor activities including hiking, boating and kayaking to observe fascinating wildlife up close. Some of the incredible sights include the beautiful cliffs of the Pacific Rim, the magical fjords of the Inside Passage, the great rivers of Vancouver Island and the frozen stretches of the subarctic coast of Alaska. In all of these areas, the many amazing excursions you’ll participate in make for once in a lifetime experiences.
