The first part – B.C. And the Rockies

Day 1 Arrival in Vancouver

Upon arrival at Vancouver International Airport you will be greeted by one of our representatives who will accompany you to your hotel. You will have a small introductory tour of the city along the way to the hotel. Getting off at your hotel, Westin Bayshore, Fairmont Waterfront, or whatever of your choice. Here you will stay for the next 2 nights to acclimatise. Checking in a double room with breakfast.

Dinner according to the roadbook which you will receive upon arrival.

Day 2 Vancouver Beauty!!

Guided tour on request by our van – a visit to the main touristic areas and Downtown Vancouver.

Excursion to Suspension Bridge and Capilano Hatchery (salmon Hatchery). West Vancouver and Dundrave Park with picnic on the sea;  Stanley Park Aquarium.

In the evening, you will return to the hotel and have a dinner at restaurant recommended by the roadbook.

Day 3 Departure to Vancouver Island and Pacific Rim

In the morning you’ll have a guided tour to M.O.A., Museum of Antoplogy, the U.B.C., University of British Columbia.  Upon return, dinner at a restaurant marked by the roadbook.

Car pick up and escort  to the village of Horseshoe Bay where you will embark on the ferry to Nanaimo. Then take the highway to Port Alberni and along this, you will stop at Cathedral Grove, the most important redwood park of the region. Arrival in Tofino in the afternoon and accommodation in a double room at the Ocean Village Resort. A walk with dinner included in Tofino Harbour village

Day4 The Pacific Rim and its creatures

Today is your day of oceanic excursions in the Pacific Rim. Large cetaceans, killer whales and great sea lions, are the residents and the real stars of this Pacific area. You will go on excursion on the board of a super fast rubber boat to approach these fascinating animals, arriving finally in a bay to enjoy the full feeling of toning relaxation in suggestive hot springs. In the afternoon, if you wish (on request), you can have a kayak trip along the beautiful Bay of Tofino between thousands of green atolls or stroll along the beautiful West Coast Trail during the sunset.Returning to your lodge, dinner and overnight stay.
Return back to your hotel, dinner and night stay.

Day 5 to 7  Great Bear Rain Forest and its fabulous creatures

You will return to the East of the island to have 3 eco-trips to Great Bear Rainforest. You will arrive in Campbell River which will be your homebase for the next three days: you’ll stay at the beautiful Lodge of April Point on Quadra Island. From here you will reach  three areas which are considered a privileged observation center for the creatures of this park that has become one of the jewels of naturalism in North America. The first evening will be devoted to relaxation with dinner included in front of the beautiful Bay of Quadra Island.

Day 8 From Vancouver to the Rocky Mountains

This morning you will leave your lodge to take a seaplane that will take you back to Vancouver for your flight to Calgary. Once you have landed, you will collect your car and drive ttowards Banff; today you will start your journey to discover the Canadian Rockies. This is the area that leads to Banff National Park.  The greatest attractions of this area are Yoho National Park and Banff National Park, both are UNESCO World Heritage sites. For the night you’ll stay in a hotel in Banff, in double room with breakfast

Day 9 Banff

You’ll start your visit to Banff with The Cave and  The Basin Historical Site, then the oldest and most famous museum dedicated to the Rocky Mountains. Then we will go up the mountain by cable car and have a scenic trip to Sulphur Mountain almost 3000 meters high. On top of this spectacular natural terrace you can enjoy a snack or lunch in a good restaurant, also known to be the highest one up in the Rockies.  In the afternoon, we’ll go South and visit an important area to see other lakes and some interesting geological structures, the Hoodoos: impressive limestone formations that lie along the way towards the lakes of the South. In the evening you will return to your lodge in Banff to change and go for dinner at a pointed restaurant.

Day 10 Banff and Lake Louise

Today, from Banff, you will start your first ascent along the Icefield Parkway, the world’s most beautiful Highway, the one which reaches Jasper in the North. The forests on both sides of the highway provide ideal habitat for the extraordinary and varied fauna. This way to observe the fauna is what resembles African Savanna safaris. To start with, there are the most beautiful lakes of the area that will fascinate you with their stunning colors from turquoise to emerald. Lake Louise is the most famous and visited the lakes in the Rockies and probably the world! From here, those who wish, can go to the discover the lake and its views by light trekking along a path which leads from the base of the lake to the Viewpoint of the plain of 6 Glaciers etc.. Dinner (included) at the restaurant of Lake Louise Inn.

Day 11 Lake Louise and Moraine Lake
You’ll visit the surroundings of Lake Louise from the beautiful Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise.  Then you’ll go to Moraine lake, the nearby twin of Lake Louise, with its charming surroundings and scenic trails, along which you can watch spectacular scenery of towering mountains and austere peaks, especially beautiful at sunset. We’ll start by reaching the Bow summit, and the spectacular Peyto Lake Viewpoint, which will really take your breath away! At this point you’ll head north to go towards your lodge for this night, the Sunwapta Falls Resort in Jasper Park, with dinner included.

Day 12 Icefield Parkway – Jasper

In the morning you will be back to the middle of the Icefield Parkway, then directly to the area of the largest glaciers of the Rockies, the Columbia Icefield. Here, in the morning, you’ll have an Ice-Bus excursion to the Glacier. This beautiful “On The Road” trip will take you to Athabasca falls, another wonder of the Rockies.

The attraction for which this area is commonly referred to, is a large number of wild nature animals that you can often meet. You will then get close to Jasper and visit Maligne lake with a small optional cruise around the lake itself. In the area of Maligne Lake you can have an excursion to Maligne Canyon with its network of underground channels. In the evening you can relax in Jasper, have a dinner at a restaurant marked in your roadbook and spend the night at Maligne Lodge or other similar lodge.

Day 13 From Calgary to Los Angeles
Early morning you will return to Calgary, passing through the Olympic area with a small  final tour for quick shopping. Transfer to the airport, where you’ll return the car and take a flight to Los Angeles. Arrival in Hawaii, in Honolulu, the next morning

The Second Part: Hawaii (Kauai)

Day 1 Arrival in Kauai – Poipu Beach

You will arrive at the airport of Lihue, Kauai. Here you are to collect another rental car and travel to the northern part of the island. Upon arrival at your 4-star resort in front of one of the most beautiful beaches of the island, Poipu Beach, you’ll have time to discover the delights of the place. Or you can simply relax by the pool with your favourite drink and enjoy the magnificent view! Dinner and overnight stay at your hotel

Day 2 Hanalei Bay Beach Park and Waimea Canyon

After a sumptuous breakfast in the hotel in front of the enchanting Bay, you will head to the West. In 10 minutes you will arrive in Hanalei Bay Beach Park. The entire Hanalei Bay is a long stretch of white sand; it is a favourite destination of many local and foreign surfers. After a snack you will take the Kuhio Highway (Highway 56) heading towards the Interior of Kauai. Here you can start an amazing adventure through the forests and valleys of the island!  Along the way there are many sights, which rise on the depths of Waimea Canyon; the most impressive is surely the Waimea Canyon Overlook: stop to admire the canyon in all its grandeur, you won’t be disappointed. Free dinner time

Day 3 Discovering the sea of Kauai. Anini Beach

Take the Kuhio Highway and turn after a few minutes of driving to Kalihiwali Road. Then take Anini Road and enjoy a day at Anini Beach Park, an almost 5 km long beach, protected by one of the longest coral reefs in Hawaii: this is a perfect place to snorkel. The lagoon is home to many marine species, such as triggerfish, parrotfish and unicorn fish.  The sea breeze blowing on the area also attracts many of those who love windsurfing, kite boarding and kite surfing.  After a kayaking tour in the beautiful Bay, return to your hotel for dinner before at the time of wonderful sunset.

Day  4 Majestic and magnificent Napali Coast

In the morning of the fourth day you will wake up early to go to Hanapepe Bay, in the southern part of the island. It’s 30 miles of untouched nature, with the Green pinnacles mountains, 1200 m high tower overlooking the sea. After admiring the coast you will cross the channel that separates Niihau from Kauai, “The Forbidden Island”. With population of only 250 inhabitants, is the smallest of the inhabited islands of Hawaii, long off limits to visitors. Once you arrive in Niihau, you’ll have a day dedicated to snorkeling. After visiting Niiahu you’ll go  back to Hanapepe Bay. From here move westward along the Salt Pond Road and relax in the Salt Pond Beach Park, an ideal place to swim and sunbathe in full privacy. In the late afternoon you will return to the hotel and have free dinner time.

Day  5 Tunnels Beach

Just 15 minutes away from your resort, lies Haena Point, where Tunnels Beach is located, surely one of the most exciting places on the island for snorkeling, diving or surfing. What makes it unique is its wide lagoon and its impressive coral reefs: Tunnels Beach has two coral reefs, one indoor and one outdoor, the latter is so impressive that it’s visible even from the space! And they’re like galleries, tunnels, opening in the barrier reef and giving the name to the beach, and that makes it so special.

It’s time to take the road to the airport where you will return the car and proceed to the boarding gate for a flight that will take you to Maui another pearl of the Hawaiian archipelago.

The Third Part: Hawaii (Maui)

Day 1

Upon arrival you are to collect your 4 × 4 and travel to your accommodation at a stunning 4-star resort along the most beautiful beach of Maui. As soon as you have refreshed, in the early afternoon you will take your first trip to Ahihi Kinau Preserve. It is accessed by a road which is not marked on the maps. If the conditions are of dead calm in the Bay, snorkeling can be excellent. Despite being easily reachable by car, Ahihi Kinau keeps the atmosphere of a “corner at the end of the world”, charming with its simplicity.

Day 2  North of Maui and Kapalua Bay Beach

Honolua Bay is located in the northern part of Maui and is part of the Mokuleia Marine Life Conservation District. The rocky beach is ideal for sunbathing, but the calm waters of the Bay and the incredible variety of marine species make Honolua Bay a great place for diving and snorkeling. The Honolua Bay of Maui in its north-west part also offers many other beaches, such as D.T. Fleming Beach, Oneloa Bay. But one place not to miss is Kapalua Bay Beach: located just to the North of Napili Bay, Kapalua Bay Beach has been repeatedly elected the best beach in the world!  After spending a day of snorkeling and sun in Maui, you will return to your hotel.

Day 3 Kanayo Coast and Molokini Crater

Head to Kihei, on the West coast of the island, discovering two of the wonders of the Kanaio Coast Maui and Molokini Crater. You will first come into contact with the Kanaio Coast, where the lava, cooling, gave birth to a beautiful, really like conformations caves, arches and caves. Then it’ll be the turn of La Perouse Bay, often frequented by dolphins with their cubs, who come to boats to play with the waves. After leaving La Perouse Bay, start your trip today to Molokini Crater, an ancient volcanic crater almost totally submerged, and now considered one of the best spots for snorkeling in Hawaii. After leaving Molokini you’ll go to Makena, where you can swim among sea turtles. Your adventure will end back in Kihei with a visit to the Humpback Whale National Marine Sanctuary.

Day 4  Haleakala

Your fourth day in Maui will be dedicated to the exploration of Mount Haleakala, the highest mountain of Maui. Haleakala, which literally means “House of the Sun”, is actually a volcano and the largest dormant volcano in the world: its last eruption dates back to 1790. It reaches 3000 meters of altitude and the crater is true is really huge: It’s 11 km in diameter, 3 kilometres wide and 800 feet deep. Your stroll will start at a height of 150 metres above sea level and you’ll continue ascending through the groves of guava, acacia and eucalyptus. You will pass next to a waterfall while entering deeper and deeper into the nature of Maui, that also includes bamboo, ginger and plants typical of the place. This will be a truly extraordinary experience, which you will never easily forget, a day in close contact with the unique flora of Hawaii!

Day 5 The road to Hana

This will be the last trip before your departure: “the road to hana”, famous for the beauty of its unspoilt landscapes and impressive waterfalls. The area is known as “The Land That Time Forgot” and you’ll see why when you’re there. Enjoy the unique experience of trekking in the bamboo forest, an area filled with mystery, wonder and photo opportunities. Although this trail is really family friendly, it’s an unforgettable experience featured by relaxing sound emitted by wind through bamboo. You can see tropical birds and other wild animals. Unforgettable! And so will be the memories of your holiday in Sunny Isles.

At the end of the tour, you will transfer to the airport, leave your rental 4 x 4 and board on the flight to Los Angeles.
