Day 1: Arrival in Vancouver
Meet & Greet Vancouver Intl. Airport and transfer with mini-city tour.
Arrival at your requested hotel (3-4-5 stars) Westin, Sheraton, or Century Plaza in a double room with breakfast

Day 2: Guided Tour of Vancouver
Pick up of rental car – Tour (guided on demand) and initial visit to the main tourist areas and downtown Vancouver.
Guided tour and visit to the Suspension Bridge and guided explanation at the Capilano Hatchery (Salmon Hatchery).
West Vancouver and Dundrave Park with a picnic by the sea.
Stanley Park with tickets to the Aquarium – If there is time, a guided tour of the MOA, Museum of Anthropology at UBC University of British Columbia.
Dinner in a restaurant recommended by our ROAD BOOK. Overnight at your hotel.

Day 3: Departure for Vancouver Island
You will head to Horseshoe Bay and board the ferry to Nanaimo.
Then take the highway to Port Alberni and, along the way, stop at MacMillian Park or Cathedral Grove, the most important redwood park in the area.
Another pleasant stop at Combs – Arrival in Tofino – Room at the Ocean Village Resort or at 2/3 Star Lodge .

Day 4: Tofino and the Pacific Rim
Today choice of whale watching excursion at the Pacific Rim National Park and Reserve, or kayaking.
Afternoon another excursion as per Road Book.
Sunset along the West Coast Trail.
Dinner at the village and overnight in your lodge

Day 5: Tofino and its Native Villages – Campbell River
Excursion to Meares Island Bay in Tofino and visit the Rainforest on Meares island.
You will meet the oldest Indian communities of the Pacific Rim, with over 2000 years of history.
At the end of this excursion you will lead to Campbell River where. Arrival in the afternoon and accommodation in hotel

Day 6 & 8: Grizzlies and Whales in the Knight Inlet Lodge
Departure by seaplane for the Knight Inlet Lodge in the Great Bear Rain Forest.
Already from the flight you will have a suggestive approach to what is today considered the jewel park of Canada.
2/3 nights in full board for 3/4 days of and park guided excursions to watch grizzlies, whales and other wild fauna from a safe but close distance, on dinghies, 4x4s SUV and trucks
This lodge served as the base for the National Geographic documentary on the Great Bear Rain Forest Park.

Day 9: From Campbell River to Port McNeil and the North
Return flight to Campbell River, then drive north.
You will arrive in Port McNeil, one of the sea villages here on the northeast coast of Vancouver Island.
Along with Port McNeill, you will visit other fascinating, handcraft fishing and ecotourism centers.
You can also go further north, to the northernmost part of the island to enjoy the wild panorama of the roaring Pacific coast, together with that of the northernmost white sand beach in the Cape Scott park.
You will spend the night in a beautiful cabin on the boardwalk of Telegraph, Cove one of the villages on the coast.

Day 10: The magnificent Killer Orcas
Today, starting from one of the sea villages in the North, you will join the “Orcas of the Bight Reserve Marine Park” excursion to the Broughton Archipelago, one of the most spectacular of its kind.
You will be face to face with some dense colonies of Killer Orcas, both resident and migratory ones, their home in this wild stretch of sea off the Johnston Strait.
At the end of this beautiful excursion, which lasts about 3 hours, you will proceed to Port Hardy.
Overnight in Lodge.

Day 11: The Inside Passage
Departure at 7:30 am for the spectacular Inside Passage.
During this crossing, you will never be tired or bored as your attention will be focused on thousands of opportunities for observation from the ship’s deck.
A landscape with gigantic canyons alternates with the arrival of orcas and dolphins on this magnificent day of peaceful navigation.
Arrival in Prince Rupert at 11:30 pm.

Day 12: The Grizzlies of Khutzeymateen
Option 3: Grizzly Sanctuary (on demand)
In the morning, from Prince Rupert, depart for the Observation Grizzly Bears Watching excursion Sanctuary of Khutzeymateen Park within the Great Bear Rain Forest.
During this enchanting experience, you will be able to spot these powerful plantigrades up close in their natural environment.
A real PHOTO SAFARI awaits you in such a spectacular setting.

Return to your hotel and dinner as indicated in your ROAD BOOK.

Day 13: The Queen Charlotte Islands – The Haida People
This morning you will board a seaplane for another truly memorable stop on your journey.
The Queen Charlotte Islands or Haida Gwaii, the land of the oldest and proudest peoples of North America, those with the most glorious and interesting history, a true civilization, unfortunately much less influential today; you will learn about their culture and ancient customs from the living voices of the descendants of the Indian chiefs who proudly reigned over this land, which is sometimes very difficult.
You will arrive in Sandspit or Masset and thave your 1st excursion with a Haida Indian Guide to the Haida Centre and Heritage Museum in Skidegate and spend 3 nights at the Copper Bay Lodge in Sandspit on half board.

Day 14: The UNESCO Site of Queen Charlotte Islands – The Haida People
Today is the big day for exploring one of the pearls of this area and of Canada: Gwaii Hanaas, the UNESCO World Heritage Site on the Queen Charlotte Islands.
Starting from Sandspit on Moresby Island, you will be accompanied by an expert eco-naturalist operator, used to traveling for National Geographic, and you will take a tour to one of the UNESCO Heritage Site areas, that of Louise Island.
The excursion will be by dinghy and will include some stops to watch the natural, artistic and cultural beauties of this area.
Return to Sandspit at the Copper Bay Lodge

Day 15: Totem poles and Haida history
Excursion with a Haida Indian Guide to the Totem Pole Tour and to Tlell Beach & National Park of the Queen Charlotte Islands on Graham Island.
The area of the upper part of the island also contains remarkable natural attractions. such as the National Park of the Islands and the various beaches, including the evocative one with white agates.
In the evening, return to your Copper Bay Lodge

Day 16: Return to Vancouver
After a last visit to the Queen Charlottes, in the morning you will go to release your rented car at the Sandspit airport and board your return flight to Vancouver.
Overnight at your requested hotel in Vancouver.

Day 17: Return to Italy
Transfer to the airport for your return flight to Italy.
