ITINERARY
First Day Arrival in Vancouver
Welcome of our staff and transfer to hotel of the chosen category. Breakfast included
Second Day Tour of Vancouver and transfer to Kamloops
After picking up the rented car, guided city tour: visit the main tourist areas and Downtown Vancouver; guided hike and visit to the Suspension Bridge and Capilano Hatchery (salmon incubator); visit of West Vancouver and Dundrave Park with picnic on the sea, then Stanley Park and the Aquarium. In the afternoon, a spectacular and scenic flight to Vancouver Bay to the Gulf Islands, flying over the Lions Bridge.
At the return, dinner at the restaurant reported. Overnight stay at Hotel.
Third Day Okanagan, towards the sun!
Today, in the morning, you go to Canada’s Okanagan, orchard and vineyard. Destination you choose: Kamloops or Kelowna in the lakes area. The first renowned for the characteristic trout populating these lakes. The surrounding countryside is a combination of forests, meadows and hills. Kamloops is a great base for exploring the wild nature surrounding it and its many lakes. Kelowna and its vicinity are the garden of this region, renowned for its excellent wines and its fruits.
Overnight stay at a lodge on Lake Roche or Kelowna.
Fourth Day From Okanagan to the Rocky – Jasper
Stage of moving towards the Rocky Mountains. In about three hours you get to the Blue River area. Visit the pretty village of Valemont at the foot of Mount Robson, which will be visible here. The tallest rocky peak says it has come near Jasper. Accommodation in a neighborhood lodge and dinner at the restaurant indicated by the road book.
Fifth Day Maligne Lake and Icefield Parkway with the Columbia Glacier
Mini-cruise around the waters of Maligne Lake, 50km south of Jasper, so hike to Maligne Canyon. Continue along the Icefield Parkway, which is the most beautiful panoramic road in the world for the amazing panoramas you can see while traveling and the presence of a large amount of wildlife along the way: grizzlies, wolves, big deer and bull moose. In the evening, lodge accommodation inside the Columbia Icefield Park and overnight stay, including breakfast.
Sixth Day Photographic safari of magnificent animals and beautiful lakes
It is recommended to get up early as the best time for observing fauna is early in the morning. Later on it will be time of excursion in ice coach on the glacier. Columbia Icefield is the source of propagation of 3 of the largest water systems in North America and feeds 4 rivers that flow into three oceans.
At the end, head south to Icefield Parkway to reach the summit of the Bow Pass and admire the spectacle of the underlying Peyto Lake, a really breathtaking image! In the evening, arrival at Lake Louise and lodging in the lodge just a short distance from the lake. Breakfast included.
Seventh Day From Lake Louise to Banff
The morning will be dedicated to discovering the surroundings and the hiking trails around the beautiful Lake Louise. This lake is the most famous and visited of the Rocky Lakes and perhaps of the world! It is recommended a light trekking towards the viewpoint overlooking the 6 Glaciers plain and offers another unforgettable panorama. In the afternoon, visit the Moraine lake. In the evening, arrival in Banff, the pretty alpine village, and overnight at the newest lodge in Banff, Fox Hotel, which has a natural source of hot water at its center. Breakfast included
Eighth Day Banff, the Museum and the Sulfur Mountain. You start for Kelowna
In the morning, visit to the oldest Rocky Mountain Museum followed by a brief tour of the Passport-Cave & the Basin; then, on the Gondola, the cable car leading to the Sulfur Mountain, you arrive at one of the most spectacular observation points of all the Rocks. In the early afternoon, continue towards the Okanagan and Kelowna regions: from the shining and mountainous north of the region to the dry and bright southern desert. The Thomson Okanagan is full of fruit and wine, products that it supplies to all over the country.
Overnight stay in a ranch on the lake, with breakfast included.
Ninth Day Victoria
After breakfast, transfer to Vancouver and boarding the ferry to Victoria, the administrative capital of the region. Blessed by a mild and sunny climate this city has its greatest attractions in the ancient palaces around the elegant harbor area, the Hinner Harbor, a prime time vital business center of the region.
Overnight stay at the Inner Harbor Hotel, including breakfast
Tenth Day Butchart Gardens and Lake Cowichan
Butchart Gardens, one of the largest floral exhibitions in the world, was reused by an abandoned stone quarry. You spend hours in the lush exotic gardens. In the early afternoon, head north. Destination: Cowichan Valley and the town of Duncan. At Duncan, visit the historic center and its many Totish of the Salish populations. Then proceed to Lake Cowichan then get to the lodge in a beautiful location on the beautiful Cowichan River. Breakfast Included
Eleventh Day Return to Vancouver
Departing in the morning to Vancouver and transfer to the airport for return flight or for another destination.
