Ontario and Quebec Tour – 14 days
First Day–Toronto
At your arrival at the Toronto International aArport, you will be welcomed by our representative who will accompany you to your Hotel. The rest of the day will be at your disposal for a first contact with the city. Before returning to the hotel, dinner is waiting for you, offered by Le Reve in a downtown elegant restaurant.
After dinner, return to the Hotel and overnight stay.
Second Day–Niagara Falls
After having breakfast (included) pick up at your hotel for the 8-hour tour (including 3 for the round trip) to the Niagara Falls. The tour includes a short break to the delightful Niagara-on-the Lake village, a visit to a winery for tasting a good local wine. The highlight of the tour will of course be the on-board tour of the “Maid of the Mist” that will take you as close as possible to the waterfalls. An interesting additional option will be the “Journey Behind the Falls”. At the end of the tour you will be re-escorted to your Toronto Hotel for dinner and the overnight stay.
Third and Fourth Days– Algonquin Park
Breakfast (included).
You’ll take the car rented and will go north. Arrive at the lodge, in the heart, of the park late in the morning (174 miles). You will spend 2 full days in the beautiful lodge inside the park. Free equipment and boats for kayaking, canoeing, sailing, trekking, mountain biking, tennis, volleyball, table tennis and more. Local Wildlife watching in its natural environment. Dinners and nights at the lodge.
Fifth Day–Ottawa
Breakfast – included – and transfer to Ottawa (149 m).
Arrival to Ottawa late in the morning and accommodation at the Hotel.
In the time available which you will have today, you can begin to visit this pretty city, chosen by Queen Victoria as the capital of Canada. Crossed by the Ottawa River and on the border between Quebec and Ontario, it certainly does not pretend to imitate the “grandeur” pursued in the construction of other capitals such as Brasilia and Washington. However, it has several noteworthy points of interest such as the Parliament Building, the ByWard Market, the National Gallery of Canada and the Canadian Museum of Nature. Its Rideau Canal (200km from Ottawa River to Lake Ontario), in winter becomes “the longest ice skating rink in the world”, while in summer it is run by numerous pleasure boats.
Alternatively, you can enjoy the spectacle of the big parks from above by flying on a hot air balloon.
Sixth Day–visit to the cities of Ottawa – Montreal
This morning, you will be taken from your Hotel for a visit to the city: a certified guide will introduce you to the beauties of Ottawa. In the afternoon transfer to Montreal (125 m). Arrival in the evening, accommodation and overnight stay at the Hiatt Regency Hotel, in a double room with breakfast.
Seventh Day–Montreal
The morning of the 7th day is scheduled the guided tour -in Italian, with pick-up and return in front of your hotel – to the most interesting places in the city: Mont Royal, St. Joseph’s Oratory, underground city with over 500 shops, Old Montreal, Place D’Armes and the imposing basilica Notre Dame. Afternoon at your disposal.
Eighth Day–Lanaudière – Parc National de Mauricie
After breakfast, following a beautiful panoramic road (see the roadbook google map), you will head to Shawinigan (112 m) or Saint-Alexis-des-Monts (90 m), a short distance from the Mauricie park. Optimal bases for canoeing that you will do in the afternoon, after you settle in your lodge. At the end of the excursion, return to the hotel for dinner (including at the lodge) and overnight stay.
Ninth Day–Quebec City
Today, after breakfast, driving along the highway 40 for 164 m. along Saint Lawrence. You will arrive in Quebec City late in the morning, in time to settle in the hotel and for the excursion to the Cote de Beaupré, scheduled for the afternoon, which will take place along the 25 m. of “chemin du Roy”, through pretty villages of pure French tradition. You will stay at the famous Sanctuary of Sainte-Anne-de-Beaupré and visit the waterfall of Montmorency, once and a half higher than the Niagara Falls. Finally, a short tour of the island of Orléans, where is the village of Sainte Petronille to relive the picturesque charm of rural life of the 19th century.
At the end, return to Hotel, free dinner and overnight stay.
Tenth Day–Quebec City
In the morning, visit the city with roadbook (or guided on request). Quebec boasts beautiful places to visit such as the Frontenac Castle, the Citadel, Place Royale, the Notre Dame de Quebec Basilica, interesting museums and much more. The afternoon will be at your disposal.
Eleventh and Twelfth Days–Saguenay Marine Park
The Saguenay / Saint Laurent Marine Park occupies an area of 480 square miles on the estuary of the Saint Lawrence River at the height of the Saguenay Fjord. It is the first park in Canada totally devoted to the conservation and protection of the marine environment: a unique ecosystem, given the geography of the seabed and the fjord. The confluence of the waters of Saint Lawrence with those of the Saguenay Fjord creates particular oceanographic phenomena that favor a significant biodiversity. Five species of cetaceans inhabit the waters of the marine park, including the beluga of Saint Lawrence, to witness the importance of this beautiful marine park.
The outdoor activities that can be done are, among other things, observing cetaceans both by boat and / or kayaking, by the shore, trekking along the banks of the fjord, which will make you enjoy spectacular landscapes, or kayaking in the waters of the fjord. The two days of this tour they also offer other activities such as Whale Watching excursion by boat in the marine park. A fascinating live life biology lesson conducted by a naturalist guide during which you will have the opportunity to observe some of the largest marine mammals such as beluga, minor whales, humpbacks, common whales or blue whales! Wild watching excursion kayaking on the coast, will let you admire some of these mammals from an exciting perspective, and enjoy of spectacular landscapes, framed by high cliffs along the Saguenay Fjord.
Return to the hotel, dinner (included) and overnight stay.
Thirteenth Day–return to Montreal
The day includes the transfer stage from Tadoussac to Montreal. Arrival in the late afternoon and accommodation at the hotel, near the airport.
Rest of the day available. Free dinner and overnight stay.
Fourteenth Day–return
After breakfast, transfer to the airport. Redelivery of rented car and return flight.
