Second, third and fourth dayHolbox
Holbox is separated from the continental coast of Mexico by a shallow lagoon that hides thousands of flamingos, pelicans and other exotic birds and is considered a virgin tourist destination because few foreigners visit the island. Despite the beauty of its nature, inaccessibility has left it intact by mass tourism. Cars are rare and circulation is predominantly in “golf carts”.
Holbox is renowned for the presence in its waters of the whale shark in summer, the largest fish, so gentle that you can swim next to it safely.
But even in other periods of the year, the island offers many opportunities for spectacular activities.
Apart from relaxing, swimming and enjoying incomparable views of its tropical waters and beaches, you can go snorkeling, kayaking, surfing, windsurfing, birdwatching the many pink flamingos present in the lagoon.

Fifth DayTulum and Mayan vestiges on the sea
In the morning transfer by taxi to Cancun. Car pickup and transfer to Tulum.
The ruins of Tulum, the only Maya site on the seashore, dominate the beaches and the underlying sea from a spectacular cliff and this unique and scenic location rediscovers them from not being up to other sites in terms of grandeur and beauty. In fact, Tulum is the second Maya site, after Chichèn Itzà, for the number of visitors. But before arriving in Tulum along the way, we recommend a stop at Akumal, where you can dive and watch the great sea turtles.
Arrival in the afternoon in Tulum in a delightful set of cottages between palm trees and, of course, by the sea. Accommodation at the Cielo Maya Hotel or other similar category in double, including breakfast. Rest of the day free. So free dinner and overnight.

Sixth DayDiving in the Grand Cenote
You are in Tulum, where the Mayans realized a commercial port, still flourishing when the Spanish arrived in the 16th century. What remains today does not surely boast the grandiosity and majesty of other Maya sites, but the special position overlooking the sea gives those who visit these ruins an unforgettable emotion.
After devoting the morning to the self-guided tour of the archaeological site, in the afternoon another one wonder of this area awaits you: an excursion to the Gran Cenote,a huge set of flooded caves, with stalactites and stalagmites. To those inexperienced will suffice to dip just the head to admire the beauty, while for scuba divers it will be one of the finest diving they may want.
Return to hotel with dinner included and overnight stay

Seventh DaySian Ka’an’s Biosphere Reserve
The day will be dedicated to hiking in the “place where the sky is born”, namely the Sian Ka’an Biosphere Reserve, one of the largest protected areas of Mexico, a kind of summa of ecosystems in the Yucatan. The park is in fact composed for a third by rainforest, a third by swamps and wetlands, and a third by marine areas, including the reef. All species of wild felines in Mexico inhabit the areas of the park; There are also spider monkeys, howler monkeys and other mammals such as tapir and cervids. On the beaches
Sea turtles lay the eggs and wetlands are ideal retreat to nest and reproduce to more than 300 species of birds.

Probably the definition of “water park” may not please someone but… quiet, this is not a huge artificial aquarium but a unique and well-maintained ecosystem. It is certainly an aquarium, but natural, where seawater and the sweet springs of underground springs and rivers blend to form an unrepeatable and extraordinary ecosystem where many tropical fish find their ideal habitat. An experience, indeed, a series of experiences not to be missed on an exciting day that will not be forgotten easily. Here you can swim between dolphins and turtles, immerse yourself in the lagoons that swarm of tropical fish and, in caves, visit the archaeological sites inside the park.
